I am a collector of USA stamps from the Netherlands. I recently bought a nice collection and am sorting it out. Now I am no expert, but I am very interested in some details of the stamps. Hopefully you can tell me interesting things about the stamps in terms of color and cancellation.

Welcome! You will find an incredible amount of information on these stamps here on the forum.
Classic Coins started a topic, Show us your 1851 - 57 imperforate stamps.
This is a continuous show-and-tell thread for US 1851-57 imperforate stamps. A lot to learn on these stamps there and most of it is about the 3 cent Washington you have posted, enjoy.

salvtem,
Three things come to mind:
1. There is nothing wrong with diisucssing *your* stamps here in this thread. And I would recommend it. Otherwise they will quickly get buried in the other threads cited here. (And you might to blasted by some for "double posting"). But I see I am too late for this.
2. For efficiency of discussion, it would be good to go back at edit your original post and give each stamp a sequential number to make it easier for us to refer to a specific stamp we wish to commemt on.
3. t would be good to show some effort on your part at a preliminary id such "As I think stamps x, y, and z are all 11A because ..."

I would like to know if my suspicion is correct. I have added the Scott numbers.

The above photos from left to right #11 en #11A

The above photos from left to right: all 11A

Can anyone comment on this?
