I am try to find some info and eventually some postal history from the No 1 Special Wireless station that served in Australia late in WW2. So for I have nothing except is web link.
https://www.ozatwar.com/sigint/1swg.htm

This is a very small section of an image that was said to show some Canadians in Australia. My question is what is the badge on the right sleeve of both soldiers.

They are Canadian army specialists according to the info provided at the bottom of that photo on the www.ozatwar website. They are both listed as sargents and If I am not mistaken the patches are Instructors badges. I am assuming that is what they are from researching the site www.canadiansoldiers.com and looking under instructors badges. Hope that helps.

Edit- See corrected information on badges in next post.

Update to my last post. They are not instructors badges. They are Army Trade Badges. The 1942 -45 badge is 2 1/2" large. It contains fleur de lis in the crown. It belongs to Tradesman group A.
A similar badge from 1946 - 1953 and only 1 1/2" is without the fleur de lis. And belongs in Tradesman group 4. This information as well as the badges can be found at https://Jfchalifoux.com/army_trade_badges.htm
