I would highly recommend the Vario Light house series. They recently came out with new albums just for these sheets. The first link shows the sheets which are available as one pocket or multiple pockets.

Same thing here but uses the name Maximum from Vario
Specs-Premium ring binder with slipcase for MAXIMUM sheets, high-quality leatherette cover in bookbinder`s quality, 4 D-ring mechanism, for mint sheets and postcards, also suitable for scrapbooking, binder size: 15 3/4" x 14 3/4" (400 x 375 mm)

I use these with good success. Much less expensive than the Lighthouse/Vario options, and easily available at most craft stores for a lot less cost, but obviously they don't have the rigidity of the album cover (as they are only soft plastic covers):

I haven't used these myself, but if quality of the covers if of paramount importance, the company also offers a deluxe (or professional) series with leatherette covers:

The basic Art Profolio's can be found (in my area anyway) at craft stores such as A.C. Moore and/or Michael's (possibly Hobby Lobby), etc. If you shop the flyers, occasionally you can find coupons for those craft stores with 40% or 50% off one item, which makes for a good deal on them.

I just switched all my sheets to simular to what WT has listed - archiaval and acid free clear but a bit flimsy. However nice zipper binders do a great job and as much as they are not book shelf cosmetically friendly , I know they are safe and tucked away. Now just have to bury them in the time capsule and leave clues for my future family members . Figure they will be worth more than face value by about 2052.

I actually found one that would fit my needs perfectly. The 18x24 poster size. I have most large sheets in a art carrier under the bed of course. But this album would give a great way to easily show and display other than dragging out the carrier. Again many thanks.

I have always used SuperSafe (or equivalent such as G&K) mint sheet albums for 3 reasons:

1. They are less bulky than large stockbooks.
2. The pages are UV transparent, so I can examine tagging without removing.
3. One album can hold 100 (using double-sided pages), so they are the most economical if you have enough mint sheets, souvenir sheets, or oversized plate blocks to justify the expense. If you use them for smaller items (regular plate blocks, booklet panes, plate number coil strips...) you will need to push out any air or turn the pages carefully to keep them from moving slightly.

I have have used them for 2 decades (10+ albums) and the only drawback that I've seen so far is that they are "soft" pages. If you have Neanderthal hands, this would not be a good option.

About 20 years ago I purchased two G&K Sheet file binders with 50 double-sided sleeves in each.
The binder padding is fairly heavy and after 20 years show very little wear.

I copy (or photograph) each item and place a reference in my album as to where it is.

I just did a quick search. You can buy the album with 50 sheets (100 pockets) for less than $40 US. So that is less than 40 cents to store each stamp sheet or item which I think is not unreasonable.
