Tasman's Arch is a tall natural bridge in the sea cliffs found in the Tasman National Park. The siltstone cliffs in this area eroded unevenly to create these unique formations.

Panská Rock is a basalt formation located near the village of Prácheň in northern Bohemia. The pentagonal and hexagonal columns reach a height of 12 meters and a diameter of 20-40 cm.

The Porta Nigra is a Roman city gate in Trier and is the largest preserved Roman city gate north of the Alps. It was built in grey sandstone between 186 and 200 A.D.

La Maison Carrée (The Square House) is an ancient building in Nîmes, southern France. It is one of the best preserved temple to be found in the territory of the former Roman Empire. The temple, measuring 26.42 by 13.54 meters at the base, is supported by thirty 10 m-tall Corinthian columns (10 free standing and 20 engaged).

Osthofen Gate is a town gate located in Soest, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is the only existing gate of originally ten in the town wall. The reconstruction took place between 1523 and 1526.

Gamzigrad is an archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Serbia. It is the location of the ancient Roman complex of palaces and temples. The stamp shows the remains of the palace Felix Romuliana.

The Externsteine is a distinctive sandstone rock formation located near the town of Horn-Bad Meinberg in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The formation consists several tall, narrow columns of rock which rise abruptly from the surrounding wooded hills.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a natural arch on Thalu (Talu) Island, Chumphon Province, combined engraved and lithography, and issued by Thailand om August 8, 1997 as one of a set of four stamps commemorating the 30th anniversary of ASEAN, Scott No. 1761.

Puerta de San Lorenzo (Saint Lawerence Gate) is located in Laredo (Cantabria), on the coast of Bay of Biscay. This gate belongs to the extension of the medieval wall of the twelfth century. A guard tower sits above the gate.

Bridge Gate is located at the northern end of a Roman stone bridge across Guadalquivir River in the Historic center of Córdoba, Andalusia. The bridge and gate were originally built in the early 1st century B.C., the current structure was built by the Moors in the 8th Century.
