Here is one more canceled stamp that has a history which may or may not influence the rarity of the stamp.
This is the town of
Avonmore Ontario with the Avonmore cancel on a small queen dated
May.11.1898 as shown below.

Avonmore is/was situated in the county of North Stormont Ontario as shown by the city limit sign below.

The picture below shows the County of Stormont as depicted in the 1800's

Below is the Deputy Postmaster.

Avonmore Ontario Postal history. In 1842 a settler named
John Hough moved to what is now Avonmore but named it
"Hough Mills"..In 1864 when the post office was created, the Community renamed it
"Avonmore"The County of Stormont in 1870 had a population of 20 people...In 1880 it had climbed to 68 people...Even today the town has only 330 people.
By 1854, regular stagecoach service to Moulinette and Moose Creek had been established and a decade later, on April 1, 1864, the settlement received its first Post Office.
The first Postmaster was
Elias Shaver
Information taken from the
" Canada Post Offices 1755-1895" assigned a "00012" post office monetary income.
0 - Indicates lack or income or no record.
1 - Indicates less than $50.00 income.
2 - Indicates less than $100.00 income.
This does not leave room for more cancels than less considering that "Large Queen" stamps were still available to the post office.
Having said that, I would love to see other cancels from "Avonmore" on "Small Queens"
