The images are poor and can hardly make sense of them, but I can still make an honest assessment.

Images 1 & 2: Common, very little value.
Image 3: Common, very little value.
Image 4: The Western Australian stamps are impossible to identify properly.
Image 5: Tasmanian & Van Diemen's Land are impossible to identify properly.
Image 6: South Australia. Common, very little value.
Image 7: Impossible to identify, very poor image.
Image 8: Would need to see the backs of the 1/- Consumptive stamp, the two war savings stamps and the back of the John Ash imprint block of 4 2/- kangaroo in map. The remainder have little value.
Image 9: Common, unless a collector in cancellations find interest in them.
Image 10: The only stamps that may have potential is the 10/- Queensland stamps, but the condition of the back is very important. The top stamps are impossible to identify properly and the remainder are either common or affected by obvious sighs of rust, the reverse needs to be seen.
Image 11: Very common, no value, some also damaged and obvious signs of heavy hinging.
Image 12: The two stamps are severely damaged, no value.
Image 13: Common, little value.
Image 14: Common, little value.

The stamps need to be enlarged and properly organised, and the backs of the stamps I mentioned and underlined may have some potential need to be enlarged and the backs also scanned.
The kangaroos at the back of the 1929 block of 4 Western Australian Swans showing the plate number 11 need to be brought to the front and enlarged.

The majority are merely common issues.

Take your kazillion dollar stamps to a stamp dealer, I'm sure they will be doing this when you give your version of their value

I believe your threat of removing stamps from this forum has been done before when you couldn't dumb down members from the other forum.

It seems that the only dud is you.

Your last entry on the other forum was December 9, 2018 (only 11 days ago and you have not responded to any members comments since).

You said earlier to me:

Is that the pride of your collection ??? Heh

You don't have anything better than that . Best of my collection is mainly early US stamps russian and British and British commonwealth but even my Australian collection is way better than you have pictured If that's what you consider valueble.

I would expect a experts stamp collection would be way better than that pictured in your last post.

Anyways make your next post the follow up we are all waiting for no need to see more of your "rare" stamps . I will post photos in "New" posts stay tuned you might see some stamps you really want but since you like trashing my posts they wont be availiable to you anyway.

I'm still waiting to see that Australian collection of yours that is way better than mine that would put a shadow over my rare specimens.

You should donate the majority of those stamps to some charity, they may be able to sell them for a few dollars.

Stop threatening to go and just do it.

Don't let the door hit your backside on the way out, though.

You are a troll.

Hi Aussie Al
Had to delete a post as I accidentally posted your comment instead of the comment from the man with the "authentic" 1918 inverted jenny stamp ().

No need to spit your dummy because I asked you to point out some better stamps & tell me what makes them better.

Maybe you should join a stamp club & get some face to face advice .

Mr Stampede - It would seem to be far easier to post pics. I for one am interested and I would love to see pics of your other material.

Okay, the best place will be at the club (put all the Australian stamps into one album or two), and I will view them at the club, and if necessary I will show Michael Drury, Dr. Scott Starling and Dr. Geoff Kellow any stamps that may need their expertising.

Or you can meet me at the club long before the first meeting (January 21), if you are willing then I will contact Philas House to see when the doors are open so we can have a room to ourselves.

What I have seen so far on the forum is not of much value (so seeing the albums you are referring to will be interesting to see), and seeing them in person would be much easier to assess, I can tell if they are common, scarce, rare etc., but I cannot assess them for currency value, that is left to people who are in business as the local stamp dealer or better still, stamp specialists.

You must remember that old stamps do not automatically make them valuable. And stamps that are hinged also lose value. Forgeries have no value unless they are of significant historical value and trimmed stamps (perforations removed to make the stamp look imperforated) are worthless.

Also rust destroys the value of the stamp and regummed stamps are also devalued.

And one main thing - try not to handle the stamps with your fingers, use stamp tweezers with the blunt ends.

with rogdcam, show some of those pics on this forum as well.

I've looked at the NSW page and the two most interesting cancellations are:

- the numeral 63 of East Maitland on the 1d DLR (rated RR Freeman 2nd ed. Over time this rating will fall - I have two strikes on DLRs)

- the 1sh centennial which appears to have a barred South Australia cancel, but I can't be 100% sure. I am 100% sure that it's not a NSW barred numeral postmark.

The 6d centennial won't be worth a King's ransom but it's value will be dependent on gum, watermark and perforation gauge.

Hi Bobby De La Rue

I have no expertise in cancellations, with information from collectors such as yourself who can speak more about them is very helpful.

Mr. Stampede should isolate the cancellations requested by members and when the opportunity arises, properly scan them for a better assessment, as I do know some cancellations can command big dollars.

Mr Stampede,

NSW rays numeral 393 (Hanging Rock) on the 2nd one penny 'view of Sydney' centennial stamp is a scarce cancel.

Also, in order to get a better look at the postmark, can you show a clearer pic of the NSW 1d shield between the 4d Cook and the 6d centennial stamps?

Thanks Rob I'm sure there's a market for Australian states stamps cancelled in another state (I have a few NSW DLRs where this type of use is unusual) but my hunch is that the 1sh centennial was probably cancelled after all states stamps became valid for use in all states.

Hi fairdinkumstamps,

Hanging Rock is rated S (31-49 examples recorded) so not hard to get. A clear strike of the numerals though which of course works in its favour.

It's a 189 Enfield - well worn and not rated. I wanted it to be a 581 (rated RR) but the rays patterns are different to the 189 in the scan.

Hope this helps!
