I'm on the fence with grading. I agree with the caliber of the stamps shown not much is left to be said. However if I were typing in a $500 or more bid I would maybe want to have things at least looked at prior to or have the option to have it graded after the purchase. Grading is like being in school where a set perameter needs to be met in X number of ways but same as teachers and professors there is flaws. Asking how much above stamps are worth is probably pointless as they will get what they get and the supply demand rule takes over .
Back to the point in an ebay format auction I think the list is a really great idea especially for a little pc of mind. The more you offer in info and guarantees just ups confidence.

FYI,
I picked it up off ebay for less than $20.00 so I'm happy with it.

Now that you have admired your beauties, did you happen to come across those that I'm looking for, R99c R131 & C13-15? I'm always looking for material to spruce up those that I do have so, when are you going to open up the store & where is it?

About your new c13-15
Not much luck on that front. The ones I was bidding on had some other guy go nuts and they sold for way over full Scv. The hammer price was $3250.00 plus the buyer premium of 15%. All I can say is he wanted them and did not care what he paid. But, I must admit they are beautiful. I still have the c13 I need to look at. If time permits, I was thinking of doing a small BOB air sale in my next auction. I have a couple of nice sets of c1-6, 3 or 4 c18, and as I mentioned the c13's, also multiples of all the in between. Most are mint nh. This will all take place on my ebay store "Independence
Stamps". I have it on vacation setting as we speak, but I am shooting for the start of the next auction on the 6th.

Recently, I picked up 3 Black Jack 73s. Centering is pretty nice or two of them but those two have small tares! Both were described as having no faults and I couldn't see any on the WEB. In addition I paid a bit more than I should have, because of the centering. I'll contact the sellers to let them know about it but I still want to keep the stamps. The 3rd stamp I got because of the cancel and its sound but poor centering. Go figure. What would you do?
